Completely Custom Handmade Personalized Baby Quilts oh my!

I’ve been staring at my every growing stash of amazing fabrics.  Fabrics from Riley Blake, Heather Bailey, Moda and Robert Kaufman and Amy Butler. Amazing designer fabrics really calling for something lovely to be done with them.  I tried my hand at a new type of simply elegant baby quilt with this vintage sheet baby quilt.  I loved the results with the folded over edge, bringing the lovely fabric to the the “back”  and adding a simple initial to make it extra special.  I mean really baby quilts should be extra special right?       So I was ready to get after something totally new for my shop.

About 6 weeks ago I introduced a line of personalized baby quilts into my shop.  I have a great selection of designer fabrics to choose from and if you don’t see just the right fabric then I even have a special “BYOF” lisitng.  You bring 1 yard of print fabric and I supply the natural muslin and middle batting layer.   I just had a customer order this for their son.  I’m excited because it’s not a fabric I would have chosen for my shop but I get to “quilt” outside the box.
